My name is Nancy Nichols and I have been teaching high school students for 19 years. I started teaching in Las Vegas, Nevada at Durango High School teaching chemistry and earth science. Las Vegas was a blast but I quickly returned to my hometown of Shelby Township, MI and started teaching at Eisenhower High School. I am a 1987 Alumni of Ike and have fond memories. Since I've been at Ike, I have taught a variety of subjects such as: physical science, chemistry, biology, biology II, and anatomy and physiology. My undergraduate studies started at Oakland University and finished at Eastern Michigan University. I have a B.S. in Biology and Chemistry. My Master's degree is from Michigan State University in Educational Administration.
During my free time, I enjoy spending time with my husband and two children. I have a 15 year old son, Duncan and an 12 year old daughter, Delaney. Both of my children are very active in sports which makes me a typical "sports mom". When I am not on the sideline cheering on my kids, I am reading, scrapbooking, walking or golfing. I am a member of Shepherd's Gate Lutheran Church and my faith is a big part of my life also. Either with the church or the community, I do enjoy volunteering my time for others that are in need.
